Reflection on pattern and abstraction of the subconscious

the big draw day 6 & 7

Day 6: nail clippers, barrettes and hair band

Day 7: okra seed pod

My quiet weekend is over. A new school week has begun. I am glad to be able to fit in even the smallest of drawings. And did you know that okra grew pointing up on the plant? I always imagined it hanging down. I pulled this dried husk of an okra off a plant today. It has beautiful little round black seeds hiding inside.

  1. Hi there. Thanks for the love. It looks so nice here. I really like your drawings. I especially like the sermon notes with your artwork–lovely.

Thanks for posting your findings on blogger v. wordpress. Not that I have or take the time to blog much, you know, but it’s nice to be informed!

  2. Lovely ocra…I’ve never seen it growing.
Are you a teacher or a student?
Nice that you can draw a bit here. Nice clips too.

  3. What wonderful sketches! Isn’t it terrific how the act of drawing makes you somehow pay closer attention to things?
