Reflection on pattern and abstraction of the subconscious

Jurassic Field Trip

Yesterday, our homeschool group met at Powell Gardens for a gorgeous day of dinosaur hunting. The weather was perfect for an outdoor stroll. My daughter captured some of the ferocious beasts we encountered on her camera.

Some of the dinosaurs were quite easy to find,

while others took a moment to discover.

What a wonderful day of fellowship it was. For me, it was the perfect mix of enjoying dear friends while surrounded by the beauty of God’s creation.

  1. cool! at our last base in utah they had a dinosaur park that we had to go to a lot … my son loves dinosaurs…. i wanted to tell you that inchies are 1″x1″ and basically the challenge is to get whatever the theme is on to that size canvas! go to this blog and you can see a million of them… and i think this lady sells inchie kits in her etsy shop… but you can make your own.. just card stock cut into 1inch squares….

  2. Oh… there are times I love living in a small town with absolutely nothing fun to do, but then someone posts something cool like this and I wonder!

What a cool field trip. We are in need of a field trip here!
